This is going to be a little bit long, please be patient on reading it

First, let me tell yall a story (its a true story)
A man whos some part of his body was paralyze because of a disease came to a doctor. The doctor examined him, diagnose him, then, after the result came out, the doctor met the patient and told him what his disease was.
The doctor told him which parts of the patients body that paralyzed, he could trying to cure him, but, he wanted to know, which part that the patient wanted to be cured first, and in which way.
The patient surprised with the question, and asking what was the meaning of the doctors question, the doctor answered, he couldnt cure all of his disease at once, he needed to cure it one by one, and in order to do that more perfectly, he needs the patients cooperation, he couldnt heal it all by himself, he needed the patient to work together with him, be a team with him to fight his disease, tell him which part that should cured first was one of the way.
The patient was touched by the doctors explanation. God know how many doctors he has met in order to get cured, but never treated like this. The other doctors only examined, then told him, in order to get cured, he must did this and that, drinking this medicine and that, all according to the doctors order, never in occasion those doctors asked him for his comment, but none of them has give him a cure, his progress was staying in the same spot.
Long story short, with the help of this new doctor, the patient has shown some progress; even people around him felt that. All because one thing, the doctor asked him to work together with him, letting him to be his partner, listening to his opinion.
What is that story connection with the condition of Indonesian comics? Read my signature, youll find out the connection.
The truth is, me and my friends in Bandungs comic community have organized two talk show, in each we invited people outside comic society (we have invited movie director, professor in philosophy degrees).
And almost all of them criticized Indonesian comics, in a f@^kin' hard way, and all off it without asking to us, what is really happened inside, they only said, Indonesian comics were empty-brained, nothing more.
If I have to compared, Indonesian comics is like the patient, we have some disease, we needed to be cure in order to work properly, but, ironically, the doctor, in this case, those director and professor, didnt act like the last doctor, they acted like the other doctors, they told us the disease of Indonesian comics, they told us the way to cure it was blah blah blah

, but do they wanted to working together with us on curing? No, off course not, they have other patient, man. They didnt have time to read our works, other author from other country is more interesting for them to read than THE-NO-BRAIN-LOW-ART-BOOK of Indonesian comics
So the conclusion about what I do think we should do if we really want to cure the disease is, we need to work TOGETHER, lets formulate the medicine together, dont just acting GOD and thinking each of us really know everything that was needed in order to make Indonesian comics rollin again, NO, we DON"T know, we needed to work together, movie director, critics, artists, writer, philosopher, economic expert, all!
And the most important point is :shut your f@^kin mouth up, critics! WE dont need more medicine! Therere already a lot of and it started makin the condition nearly OD, we need ACT! If you think you have some solution, come and join us! Start working
